Shipping

To read about the various ways of shipping and transporting sugar gliders, and what is needed, please read the article I wrote for GliderCENTRAL:
Transporting and Shipping a Sugar Glider

Shipping via Airlines

There are different shipping containers that can be used and in different combinations.  Here are a few ways that we at Glider Nursery ship our babies safe and securely to their new homes.
Picture
This is a typical airline approved shipping crate.  The sugar gliders are placed into an inner container inside a pouch. The inner container may be a Critter Keeper, small wire cage, or other safe container.  Small 'blankies' are typically placed inside the pouch that already have the gliders scent on them.

Although not pictured here, Glider Nursery includes a small dish of fresh fruit and veggies for travel snacks.
