Tips for Cages
- 18" x 30" x 36" minimum - bigger is better!
- NO more than 1/2" bar spacing, even 5/8" a glider can escape
- Consider the size of the cage and your doorways for moving to clean
- Secure all feeder doors permantely closed as many gliders have figured out how to open them and escape the safety of their cage. This can have fatal results, so a small ziptie can save a life!
- Make sure the main door is large enough for a 12" wheel to go easily inside
- Solid tops (metal) are more difficult to hang cage items from
- Make sure you can reach the back of the cage to move items and clean
- Consider the quality of the cage, spend more up front to save $$ in the long run!
